CoDi2

Covalent Dimeric Molecule

CoDi2 is a covalent dimerization inducer that specifically promotes the irreversible dimerization of proteins fused with O6-alkylguanine-DNA alkyltransferase (AGT, also referred to as SNAP-tag) in live cells. This compound serves as an innovative "sensor" for probing protein-protein interactions, enabling scientists to investigate dynamic biological processes and the functional consequences of dimerization in various research applications. CoDi2's specificity and irreversibility make it a valuable tool for elucidating the roles of protein interactions in cellular networks.
