CPI1
MRP1 Inhibitor
CPI1 is an inhibitor of multidrug resistance protein 1 (MRP1) with a Ki value of 100 nM. By binding to the substrate-binding site, CPI1 stabilizes MRP1 in an apo-like inward-facing conformation, effectively blocking ATP hydrolysis and the necessary conformational changes for substrate transport. This compound inhibits the ATPase activity of both human and bovine MRP1, making it a valuable tool for studying the substrate transport mechanisms of MRP1 and exploring its role in cancer multidrug resistance research.
