D-Glucan
Dectin-1 Activator
D-Glucan is a Dectin-1 receptor activator that enhances immune response and possesses antioxidant properties, notably reducing TNF-α levels. It engages macrophages and neutrophils to mitigate oxidative stress, enhance glycolysis, and improve insulin sensitivity by promoting glutathione activity while inhibiting gluconeogenesis. D-Glucan is applicable in research related to liver damage protection against Acetaminophen toxicity, radiation protection in combination with vitamin E, and diabetes through improved glucose metabolism.
