D-Glucuronic acid lactone

Glucuronic Acid Derivative

D-Glucuronic acid lactone is a glucuronic acid derivative that serves as a valuable starting reagent for the synthesis of various glucuronic acid derivatives. It is utilized in the preparation of 2,3,4-tris (tert-butyldimethylsilyl) glucuronic acid trichloroethyl ester, which is further employed in the synthesis of 1-O-acyl glucuronic acids relevant to anti-inflammatory research. Additionally, this compound has applications in the production of optically active glucuronic acids and long-chain alkyl glucuronides. D-Glucuronic acid lactone may also play a role in studies concerning reversible cerebral vasoconstriction syndrome (RCVS).
