DAM Inhibitor
DAM-IN-1 is a selective DNA adenine methyltransferase (DAM) inhibitor with an IC50 value of 48 μM. This compound effectively inhibits the growth of Caulobacter spp., exhibiting a minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of 35 μM. DAM-IN-1 is a valuable tool for investigating the role of DNA methylation in bacterial physiology and for exploring potential therapeutic strategies against methyltransferase-related pathogens.
