DAPOA

Azide

DAPOA is a click chemistry reagent featuring an azide functional group, primarily utilized in peptide synthesis as a versatile linker. This compound enables further modifications at the azido group through Staudinger ligation or copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAc) with alkyne-containing molecules. Additionally, DAPOA can facilitate ring strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC) with bicyclo[6.1.0]non-4-yne (DBCO) or bicyclo[6.1.0]non-3-yne (BCN) moieties, making it a powerful tool for bioconjugation and chemical biology applications.
