DB1055

HOXA9 Inhibitor

DB1055 is a selective inhibitor of HOXA9 that interferes with its binding to DNA, effectively blocking its transcriptional activity. This compound demonstrates significant anti-leukemic effects by inducing cell growth reduction, apoptosis, and differentiation in human acute myeloid leukemia (AML) cells. DB1055 promotes monocyte-to-macrophage differentiation and exhibits efficacy in in vivo models using human THP-1 AML cells. Importantly, it does not affect human CD34+ bone marrow cells, making it a valuable tool for research in AML.
