DBIBB

GPCR Agonist

DBIBB is a selective agonist for the type 2 G protein-coupled receptor (LPA2), primarily functioning through its interaction with lysophosphatidic acid. This compound has demonstrated the ability to alleviate gastrointestinal radiation syndrome by enhancing intestinal crypt survival and promoting enterocyte proliferation while decreasing apoptosis. DBIBB serves as a promising candidate for research focused on mitigating the effects of acute radiation syndrome, particularly in the hematopoietic and gastrointestinal systems following high-dose γ-radiation exposure.
