DDMS

20-HETE Inhibitor

DDMS (Dibromo-dodecenyl-methylsulfimide) is a selective inhibitor of 20-Hydroxyeicosatetraenoic acid (20-HETE) production. By inhibiting 20-HETE synthesis, DDMS effectively attenuates the vasodilatory response to sodium nitroprusside (SNP). This reagent is valuable in research applications focused on cardiovascular physiology and the modulation of vascular tone.
