Dehydronitrosonisoldipine

SARM1 Inhibitor

Dehydronitrosonisoldipine is an irreversible inhibitor of sterile alpha and TIR motif-containing 1 (SARM1), acting primarily by blocking SARM1 activation without affecting its enzymatic functions. This compound covalently modifies critical cysteine residues, effectively inhibiting SARM1 and mitigating axon degeneration, as well as reducing vincristine-induced cADPR production in neurons. Dehydronitrosonisoldipine is a valuable tool for investigating the molecular mechanisms of neurodegenerative disorders.
