Deoxyandrographolide

Interleukin Related Activator

Deoxyandrographolide is an Interleukin-related activator that exhibits anti-inflammatory properties by suppressing lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced increases in mRNA levels of inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) and the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines such as TNF-α and IL-6. Additionally, Deoxyandrographolide enhances nerve growth factor (NGF)-induced neurite outgrowth, making it a valuable reagent for studies related to neuroprotection and inflammation. Its multifaceted biological activity offers utility in both cellular signaling and neurobiology research applications.
