Deprodone

Hydrolase Ligand

Deprodone is an inhibitor of hydrolase ligands, targeting essential enzymes involved in bacterial cell wall synthesis. This compound demonstrates significant activity against methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) by disrupting the function of hydrolase and transferase proteins. Deprodone is utilized in research related to anti-MRSA therapies, inflammatory skin conditions, bowel diseases, and disorders of fatty acid metabolism.
