Deucravacitinib hydrochloride
TYK2 Inhibitor
Deucravacitinib hydrochloride is a selective inhibitor targeting TYK2, exhibiting potent activity against this kinase. It effectively disrupts signaling pathways associated with IL-12, IL-23, and type I interferons, highlighting its potential in treating autoimmune conditions. Preclinical studies have indicated significant efficacy in inflammatory bowel disease models, as well as superiority over placebo and apremilast in multiple efficacy endpoints in moderate to severe plaque psoriasis.
