Diaminobiotin

Biotin Analog

Diaminobiotin is a biotin analog that plays a significant role in enhancing the transcriptional activity of interleukin-2 (IL-2) and its receptor (IL-2R) genes in Jurkat cells. This compound maintains the abundance of holocarboxylase and does not influence the activity of propionyl-CoA carboxylase within the same cellular model. Diaminobiotin is primarily utilized in research focused on immunological signaling pathways and gene expression regulation.
