Diclofenac-d4 sodium

Diclofenac-d4 sodium is a deuterated form of the potent nonselective anti-inflammatory agent Diclofenac sodium, primarily targeting cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes. It demonstrates effective COX inhibition, with IC50 values of 4 nM for human COX-1 and 1.3 nM for COX-2, along with 5.1 μM and 0.84 μM for ovine COX-1 and COX-2, respectively. This compound also induces apoptosis in neural stem cells through the activation of the caspase cascade, making it valuable for research in inflammation and neurobiology.
