Dipentyl phthalate
Plasticizer
Dipentyl phthalate is a plasticizer known for its endocrine-disrupting properties. It has been shown to enhance the phosphorylation of AMPK while reducing phosphorylation of AKT1 and decreasing SIRT1 levels. Additionally, dipentyl phthalate lowers levels of adrenocorticotropic hormone and is recognized as a testicular toxicant, making it relevant for studies in toxicology and endocrine research.
