Diphenyl Phosphate

Metabolic Inhibitor

Diphenyl Phosphate is a metabolic inhibitor primarily targeting succinate dehydrogenase (SDH), also known as respiratory complex II. It effectively inhibits metabolic growth and energy production in zebrafish and mice, demonstrating a sex-specific impact. Additionally, Diphenyl Phosphate reduces the expression of carnitine palmitoyltransferase 1 (CPT1) and compromises mitochondrial membrane integrity. This compound has potential applications in the study of metabolic diseases.
