Dipropyl phthalate

Plasticizer

Dipropyl phthalate acts primarily as a plasticizer. It has been shown to activate the FoxO signaling pathway, resulting in abnormal proliferation and apoptosis of pharyngeal arch cartilage in zebrafish models. Additionally, this compound induces developmental defects in the craniofacial cartilage of zebrafish embryos, making it a relevant tool for studies on developmental biology and toxicology.
