Dipropylenetriamine NONOate

NO Donor

Dipropylenetriamine NONOate (DPTA-NO) functions as a nitric oxide (NO) donor, releasing NO through a pH-dependent, first-order dissociation process. The compound exhibits a half-life of approximately three hours at 37°C and five hours at 22-25°C under physiological pH conditions (pH 7.4). DPTA-NO is utilized in various biological research applications, including studies on vascular function, cell signaling, and the exploration of NO's role in physiological and pathological processes.
