Dithiodipropionic Acid
Dithiodipropionic acid primarily targets CPUL1, a TrxR inhibitor, facilitating the formation of nanoaggregates known as CPUL1-DA NAs. These aggregates generate elevated levels of reactive oxygen species (ROS), significantly enhancing apoptosis in cancer cells compared to free CPUL1. This compound shows promising applications in cancer research, particularly in increasing antitumor efficacy against HUH7 cancer cell lines.
