DM-4107

MRP4 Inhibitor

DM-4107 is a potent inhibitor of the MRP4 transporter, demonstrating inhibitory capabilities on human liver transporters including NTCP, BSEP, MRP3, and MRP4, with IC50 values of 95.6, 119, 61.2, and 37.9 μM, respectively. This compound is primarily a metabolite of Tolvaptan and is metabolized by the CYP3A4 enzyme in the liver. DM-4107 is particularly relevant for research into autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease (ADPKD) as it impacts bile acid transport in primary human hepatocyte (SCHH) cells.
