DMABA NHS ester
PE Detection Reagent
DMABA NHS ester is a specialized reagent designed for the detection of phosphatidylethanolamine (PE) through its reaction with primary amine groups in cell membrane components. This compound facilitates the identification of all PE subclasses via precursor ion scanning and can be effectively utilized alongside isotope-labeled variants such as DMABA-d6 NHS ester, DMABA-d10 NHS ester, and DMABA-d4 NHS ester. Applications include monitoring changes in PE lipid distribution and investigating the formation of novel PE lipid products in biochemical research.
