DPyPE

Co-lipid

DPyPE is a neutral phosphatidylethanolamine lipid that contains a polyisoprene alkyl chain along with two pyridine-containing phosphine ligands. This compound is primarily utilized in liposome formulations to improve gene delivery effectiveness both in vitro and in vivo. DPyPE enhances the formation of uniform liposome complexes by facilitating the binding of cationic lipids, such as VC1052, to negatively charged plasmid DNA (pDNA), thereby regulating the fluidity and stability of the liposome membrane for optimal performance in therapeutic applications.
