DSPE-NHS

Antibody Labeling Molecule

DSPE-NHS is a bioconjugation phospholipid that contains two hydrophobic lipid tails and features a reactive N-hydroxysuccinimide (NHS) ester component. This compound facilitates labeling of antibodies by forming stable amide linkages with the N-terminal of proteins, peptides, or other amine-containing molecules. DSPE-NHS also exhibits self-assembling properties, enabling the formation of lipid bilayers in aqueous solutions, making it suitable for the preparation of liposomes as nanocarriers for various biological applications.
