DXR Inhibitor
DXR-IN-3 is a selective inhibitor of deoxyxylulose-5-phosphate synthase (DXR) in Toxoplasma gondii, exhibiting potent in vitro activity against the TgDXR enzyme with an IC50 value of 0.62 μM and a Ki value of 0.19 μM. This compound effectively inhibits the proliferation of Toxoplasma gondii, demonstrating an IC50 value of 5.46 μM. DXR-IN-3 serves as a valuable tool for research in the study of Toxoplasma biology and the development of therapeutic strategies against related infections.
