EAPB0503

Antitumor Agents

EAPB0503 is a quinoline derivative that functions as an antitumor agent by exhibiting potent cytotoxicity against melanoma cells, with an IC50 of 200 nM. This compound induces specific cell cycle arrest in mitosis and directly triggers apoptosis in chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) cells, resulting in an increased G0 cell population, disruption of mitochondrial membrane potential, cleavage of PARP, and DNA fragmentation. Additionally, EAPB0503 effectively reduces BCR-ABL protein levels, highlighting its potential applications in cancer research and treatment.
