Radionuclide-Drug Conjugates (RDCs)
EB-PSMA-617 functions as a radionuclide-drug conjugate (RDC) targeting prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA). By conjugating PSMA-617 with Evans Blue (EB), this compound exhibits enhanced pharmacokinetic properties, resulting in an extended circulation half-life. In preclinical studies utilizing PC3-PIP-loaded murine models, EB-PSMA-617 showcases increased accumulation in PSMA-positive tumors and demonstrates effective tumor elimination while minimizing radioactivity exposure. These characteristics make it a valuable tool for improving the efficacy of radiotherapy in prostate cancer research.
