Echistatin

RGD Protein

Echistatin is a potent inhibitor of integrins, specifically targeting αIIbβ3, αvβ3, and α5β1. As the smallest active RGD protein derived from snake venoms, Echistatin effectively inhibits platelet aggregation and bone resorption in cell culture models. Its unique properties make it a valuable tool for studying integrin-mediated processes in various biological and therapeutic research applications.
