EGCG Octaacetate

EGCG Prodrug

EGCG Octaacetate is a prodrug of epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG) with a primary mechanism of modulating inflammation via down-regulation of the PI3K/Akt/NFκB signaling pathway and p65 acetylation. This compound demonstrates significant antibacterial activity against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. Additionally, EGCG Octaacetate possesses antioxidant properties and exhibits anti-angiogenic, anti-inflammatory, and antitumor effects, making it a valuable reagent for research in cancer, inflammation, and microbial studies.
