Gαi1/β-arrestin-2 Activator
Elabela(19-32) is an active peptide fragment of ELABELA that serves as a potent activator of the apelin receptor (APJ), targeting the Gαi1 and β-arrestin-2 signaling pathways. With EC50 values of 8.6 nM for Gαi1 and 166 nM for β-arrestin-2, Elabela(19-32) promotes receptor internalization and decreases arterial pressure, while also exhibiting positive inotropic effects on cardiac function. This reagent is valuable for research in cardiovascular biology and receptor signaling mechanisms.
