ELOVL1 Inhibitor
ELOVL1-IN-2 is an inhibitor of the elongation of very long chain fatty acids 1 (ELOVL1) enzyme. It demonstrates weak inhibition of ELOVL1 with an IC50 of 21 μM and exhibits moderate potency in primary cellular assays using HEK293 cells, showing an IC50 of 6.7 μM. This compound can be utilized in research related to fatty acid metabolism and the biological roles of very long chain fatty acids in various cellular contexts.
