ELOVL6 inhibitor
ELOVL6-IN-3 is a selective inhibitor of ELOVL6, demonstrating potent activity as an oral agent. This compound effectively inhibits mouse ELOVL6 with an IC50 value of 0.350 μM, acting in a noncompetitive manner with respect to malonyl-CoA (Ki=994 nM) and palmitoyl-CoA.
