Emapticap pegol
CCL2 Inhibitor
Emapticap pegol is a potent inhibitor of the pro-inflammatory chemokine C-C motif ligand 2 (CCL2). This 40-nucleotide oligonucleotide aptamer, also known as NOX-E36, exists in two isomers: the human variant and the murine analogue mNOX-E36. Research demonstrates that mNOX-E36 effectively mitigates liver fibrosis in mouse models, making Emapticap pegol a valuable tool for studies targeting CCL2-mediated inflammatory processes.
