Enalaprilat-d5

ACE Inhibitor

Enalaprilat-d5 is a deuterated form of Enalaprilat, a potent angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor. This compound inhibits the conversion of angiotensin I to angiotensin II, leading to decreased vasoconstriction and lowered blood pressure. Enalaprilat-d5 is primarily used in pharmacological studies to investigate the mechanisms of action and metabolic pathways of ACE inhibitors, as well as for the development of therapeutic strategies in hypertension and heart failure research.
