Endosidine 5
Endosidine 5 (ES5) targets the secretion of extracellular polymeric substances (EPS) and modulates cell wall expansion. It specifically alters the secretion of extracellular matrix (ECM) materials in Penium margaritaceum by impacting the Golgi apparatus. In addition, Endosidine 5 interferes with recycling endosomes via Annexin A6, promoting the release and expression of mRNA into the cytoplasm. This compound is valuable for investigating the mechanisms of cell wall dynamics and ECM regulation in plant systems.
