(±)-Enterodiol
Anti-Cancer Agent
(±)-Enterodiol is a racemic mixture known for its anti-cancer properties, primarily targeting colorectal cancer (CRC) cells. It is metabolized by human intestinal bacteria from lignans found in a variety of dietary sources, including whole grains, nuts, legumes, flaxseed, and vegetables.
