Eplivanserin hemifumarate
5-HT2A Receptor Antagonist
Eplivanserin hemifumarate is a potent and selective antagonist of the 5-HT2A receptor, exhibiting an IC50 of 5.8 nM in rat cortical membranes and a Kd of 1.14 nM. It demonstrates greater than 20-fold selectivity for the 5-HT2A subtype over 5-HT2B and 5-HT2C receptors.
