Erucic acid sodium

Monounsaturated Fatty Acid

Erucic acid sodium is a monounsaturated fatty acid (MUFA) derived from the seeds of Raphanus sativus L. This compound can effectively cross the blood-brain barrier (BBB) and has demonstrated potential in normalizing the accumulation of very long-chain fatty acids in the brain. Research indicates that erucic acid sodium may enhance cognitive function and exhibit protective effects against dementia-related impairments.
