ERX-41

ER Stress Inducer

ERX-41 is an orally active small molecule that induces endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress, leading to apoptosis in cancer cells. Although it is stereospecific and initially linked to lysosomal acid lipase A (LIPA), its mechanism of action operates independently of LIPA, relying instead on its localization within the ER. This compound is being explored for its potential application in targeting solid tumors, making it a valuable tool in cancer research and therapeutic strategies.
