Ethimidine

SH Inhibitor

Ethimidine is a potent sulfhydryl (SH) inhibitor, demonstrating the ability to significantly lower serum free SH levels. This compound has been shown to reduce free SH concentrations in rat models previously transplanted with sarcoma or carcinoma cells. Its applications may extend to researching the role of sulfhydryl groups in cancer biology and potential therapeutic interventions.
