Ethyl gentisate

ALP Activator

Ethyl gentisate (Ethyl 2,5-dihydroxybenzoate) is an activator of alkaline phosphatase (ALP) that facilitates cell differentiation. It promotes osteogenic differentiation in human mesenchymal stem cells (hMSCs) while inhibiting RANKL-induced osteoclastogenesis in RAW264.7 cells, thereby contributing to the regulation of bone remodeling. This compound is valuable for research applications focused on bone biology and regenerative medicine.
