ET-743 Product

ETM-305 is a degradation product of the anticancer agent ET-743 (Ecteinascidin 743). This tetrahydroisoquinoline alkaloid targets the minor groove of DNA, effectively inhibiting the transcription of stress-induced proteins, inducing DNA backbone cleavage, and promoting apoptosis in cancer cells. It has been shown to enhance reactive oxygen species (ROS) production in MCF-7 and MDA-MB-453 cell lines, making it a valuable tool for investigating the mechanisms of soft tissue sarcoma and ovarian cancer.
