Exo2

Secretion Inhibitor

Exo2 is an effective secretion inhibitor that interferes with the trafficking of Shiga toxin between endosomes and the trans-Golgi network. It prevents the exit of secretory cargo from the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) and disrupts Golgi apparatus function without altering trans-Golgi network morphology. Additionally, Exo2 has been shown to stimulate calcium-dependent exocytosis in permeabilized adrenal chromaffin cells, making it valuable for research involving cellular secretion pathways and vesicle transport mechanisms.
