Angiotensin II Receptor Antagonist
EXP-6803 is a selective nonpeptide antagonist of the angiotensin II receptor, exhibiting notable antihypertensive effects. It effectively inhibits the contractile response to angiotensin II, demonstrating a pA2 value of 7.20. Notably, EXP-6803 does not interfere with the contractile responses to bradykinin or acetylcholine, as evidenced in guinea pig ileum studies. This compound is particularly valuable for research focused on hypertension mechanisms and therapeutic interventions.
