Felotaxel

Drug Derivative

Felotaxel is a derivative of Docetaxel, primarily targeting microtubules to inhibit cancer cell proliferation. It exhibits significant antitumor activity and demonstrates distinct pharmacokinetic properties in preclinical models, particularly in rats. The compound is rapidly distributed within normal tissues, with renal excretion serving as the primary elimination pathway, and its plasma protein binding capacity shows a nearly linear relationship with concentration. Felotaxel's unique profile makes it a valuable reagent for cancer research and therapeutic studies.
