Fenaminosulf

Plant Immune Modulator

Fenaminosulf, a plant immune modulator, significantly hinders immune recognition and signal transduction in plants by inhibiting key kinases such as Xa21 and PBL19. This modulation affects the expression of genes involved in hormone metabolism, phenylpropane biosynthesis, and plant-pathogen interactions. Additionally, Fenaminosulf demonstrates a concentration-dependent influence on the growth and gall formation of Zizania latifolia. While it induces mutations in bacterial systems and leads to chromosomal aberrations in plants, it does not exhibit mutagenic effects or lethal activity in Drosophila melanogaster and shows varied results regarding carcinogenicity in rat studies.
