FGF7p

Bladder Protector

FGF7p is a small molecule peptide that acts primarily as a bladder protector through the activation of fibroblast growth factor receptor 2 (FGFR2) signaling pathways in the urinary tract epithelium, specifically pFRS2α, pAKT, and pERK. It has demonstrated efficacy in mitigating cyclophosphamide-induced apoptosis and tissue damage in urinary tract epithelial cells by activating AKT and its downstream anti-apoptotic targets, including pBAD and pS6/mTORC1. FGF7p is utilized in research exploring inflammatory conditions and the protective mechanisms within the urinary system.
