Fibrin

Hemostasis Activator

Fibrin is an insoluble protein that serves as a key hemostasis activator in the blood coagulation process. It is primarily involved in the formation of blood clots, facilitating the binding to integrins such as ICAM-1, VE-cadherin, αIIbβ3, αMβ2, αvβ3, and α5β1. Fibrin is utilized in research focused on chronic wound healing and various studies exploring the mechanisms of hemostasis and thrombosis.
