Fipexide

Adenylate Cyclase Inhibitor

Fipexide is an adenylate cyclase inhibitor that demonstrates nootropic activity by reducing striatal adenylate cyclase activity. It enhances cognitive performance through dopaminergic neurotransmission, making it relevant for research into senile dementia. Additionally, Fipexide serves as a chemical inducer in plant biology applications, such as callus formation, shoot regeneration, and Agrobacterium-mediated transformation.
