Flindersine

Antidiabetic Agent

Flindersine is an antidiabetic and antioxidant compound that primarily targets metabolic pathways to lower blood glucose levels. Studies have demonstrated its effectiveness in reducing body weight gain, plasma insulin concentration, urea, creatinine, total cholesterol, triglycerides, and free fatty acids in vivo. Additionally, Flindersine enhances the phosphorylation of GLUT4, AMPK, and PPARγ in adipose tissues and skeletal muscles, making it a valuable tool in diabetes research and metabolic studies.
